a teen in his grandfathers sail loft in New Bedford Mass.
then E.W. Smith Sailmakers in Fairhaven Mass. His
experience, on all types of boats, is called upon often by
other sailmakers in and out of the Doyle Sailmaker group. |

Tim
Stodola: Tim is our
Sales Manager and has been a with the loft since 1993. Tim’s
background in masts, rigging, sail furling and sail handling
systems, has proven to be very valuable to our customers.
Tim has extensive sailing and racing experience including
one design and Maxi Race yachts, corporate, and charter
yachts. |

Dale Hummert:Dale
has been with our operation for over 13 years. While being
well versed in every aspect of construction, Dale has two
primary responsibilities. He inspects and inventories all
sail sections as they come from the cutter and is charged
with the initial seaming of all sails. He is also our
purchasing agent. |

Peter
Oliphant: Peter is our Floor Manager.
Peter has been with Mark Ploch and this loft since 1980.
Peter oversees the production of all new sails from seaming
to final checkout. He also supervises all service, repairs
and modifications that come in. His experience in all
aspects of sailmaking is one of the reasons so many sailors
have come to rely on Doyle Ploch Sailmakers for the highest
quality and service. |

Peter
Johnson: Peter
brings to Doyle Ploch, over 30 years of sailmaking
experience. Starting in 1970 with Hood Sailmakers, and most
recently from JSI/Sailnet in St. Pete, Peter has worked with
major Sailmaking companies. Peter’s knowledge and
experience in the loft along with 25 years of club racing
and sailing make Peter a valuable member of our
team. |

Jim
Corely: Jim
is a lifelong sailor with roughly 20 years working in the
art of sailmaking, Jimmy is one of the most versatile
sailmakers on our team. Whether it’s sewing Large clipper
sails, Racing Spinnakers, or hand crafting custom sailcovers
and Doyle StackPacks, Jimmy’s skill is evident in each
product. |

Vladimir Kulinichenko: Kuli
has an engineering background and world class sailing and
sailmaking experience. Kuli has been involved in projects
ranging from Whitbread campaigns to schooners, tall ships
and IMS racing projects, over the span of thirty years and
over 100,000 miles. |

| Mark
Ploch: Mark is the
owner of Doyle Ploch Sailmakers in Clearwater Fl. and Doyle
City Island. He is one
of the most respected names in sailmaking and a
formidable opponent on the Grand Prix racing scene. Mark
started this loft in March of 1978 and has built it up to be
one
the largest independent, full service sail lofts in the
country. |

| Paul Beaudin: Sail
Consultant, Paul Beaudin came to City Island after running
Doyle Sails
Vermont. Along with developing sails and systems
for sport boats, Paul is a competitor in the J24
class, with top finishes in the Worlds, North
Americans. He has developed tuning guides for the J24 and
J105
classes. |
